On December 08, 2025, the Catholic community joyfully marked the 127th anniversary (1898–2025) of St. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church at the National Marian Shrine Mariamabad.
The celebration began with a beautiful Marian procession, lovingly prepared by the FTL Sisters, as children showered flowers and the faithful raised joyful slogans. During the Holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Tariq George, Rector of the Shrine, reflected on the purity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and honored the sacrifices of the early Capuchin missionaries who helped shape this holy place.
The Basharat Mariam Women’s Group offered flowers to Our Lady, and the celebration concluded with the traditional cake-cutting and blessings for all.
